The David Thomas Bailey Trio: September 2007
SkyJazz Favorite Artist Poll Winner!
Heard on KUVO, 89.3FM!
The David Thomas Bailey Trio has received great press lately,
with a great review in Earplugs section of Westword and photos
on the cover of the Rocky Mountain News Spotlight Section!
Three of the Mile High City's best musicians: Alejandro Castano on
drums, Curtis Gurule on saxophone, and David Thomas Bailey on
a unique seven string guitar that enables him to fill the role of
bassist and guitarist simultaneously...they sound like a group
twice their size. Playful and upbeat performances move
seamlessly from jazz to rock to funk to country and back...all
transmitted with musical excellence that fits any bill.
From steady groovin' jazz to funky rock, jazz classics to all
original, The David Thomas Bailey Trio will leave you feeling good
and humming a tune
